Is Nido free to use?
Yes. The core of Nido — your shared dashboard, manual expense tracking, splitting and settling up, one shared budget, and bill reminders — is free for as long as you use it. We only charge for advanced planning features.
Do I need to link a bank account?
No. Nido is manual-first — you and your partner log expenses by hand, and everything works fully offline. Automatic bank sync is planned as an optional add-on later, never a requirement.
Is Nido only for couples?
No. Nido works for any household — partners of any kind, roommates, or a household that includes kids. We never assume a "traditional" family.
Can I keep some things private from my partner?
Yes. You control visibility per account and per transaction — mark something private and it stays off your partner's device. Shared expenses stay visible to both of you so you can settle up.
Is my data secure?
Yes — your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, we never sell your information, and we never show third-party ads.
What happens to our data if we're no longer together?
